An archival, animated history of three scientists who became seeds to social revolution from within and beyond the lab. Amílcar Cabral (Guinea-Bissau, Africa), Nikolai Vavilov (Soviet Union), and Pandurang Khankhoje (India, Mexico) resisted the status quo through their research to envision long term solutions to food security, reclaiming human dignity and political freedoms.
Created for Symbiosis 2021, a commissioned short film series funded by Science Sandbox in which a filmmaker is paired with a scientist to make a film in one week on the theme of "Resistance." Premiered at the Imagine Science Film Festival 2021.
